Greetings to All,

All Praise be to the Father!!

This last Sabbath, the 22nd and 23rd of July 2011 I successfully distributed the "Ellen G. White Promoted the Feast Days" flyer at the Soquel, CA  Seventh-day Adventist Camp meeting camp grounds.

Gary Jensen (the former pastor of the church where my membership is at in Campbell, CA and the current associate pastor of the Fresno central church where Stephen Bohr is the senior pastor) warned the 10,000 attendees on Sabbath morning from the pulpit of the main auditorium right after sabbath school saying ""This document "Ellen G. White Promoted the Feast Days" is not an official document. You can read it but it is not an official document"". A Similar warning was repeated in the Spanish meetings.

Later in the afternoon during Sabbath afternoon fellowship dinner Gary, in front of several of my friends and acquaintances, threatened to disfellowship me from the church. He warned me not to have a martyrs complex and said that those of us that believe in celebrating the feast days should start our own church. He also said that the security would hand cuff me and escort me off of the camp grounds if I persisted in distributing the flyer. Gary also said that leaflets and booklets were the "worst" form of media as there was nothing they could do to prevent the reader from comprehending the flyer and there was no opposing arguments.

What Is A "Church"?

I could not help but to recall a great article I once read on the word "church" written by Sidney Davis (link to article below). Bottom line is that the word church does not exist in the old testament but the word convocation does. The word convocation is first used in connection with the story of Passover in Exodus 12:16.

So an organization that calls itself a church but does not celebrate Passover simply does not meet the Biblical criterion for the word "church".

Whether they realize it or not, all true believers have experienced a form of Passover when they accepted the Messiah as their sin atoning sacrifice. Every year, at this time of the year (Aviv 14th Lev 23:5) the true church gathers and renews it's baptismal vows by remembering the great act that Yahushua did for His people by laying down His life for His sheep.

Foolishness In The Multitude Of Foolish Counselors

Gary also warned all that were listening to him that afternoon that we were walking upon dangerous ground by not submitting to the Seventh-day Adventist corporate church authority as there was wisdom in the multitude of counselors and that if we believe that God would reveal this truth of the feast days to just one person or a small group of people and pass the official church leadership by that we were deceived.

I promptly reminded Gary that the multitude of counselors had to be WISE counselors and not foolish and that Scripture tells us what true wisdom is and it is described in the verse below.

"Behold, I have taught you statutes and judgments, even as the LORD my God commanded me, that ye should do so in the land whither ye go to possess it. Keep therefore and do [them]; for this [is] your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the nations, which shall hear all these statutes, and say, Surely this great nation [is] a wise and understanding people."  Deuteronomy 4:5-6

"For by wise counsel thou shalt make thy war: and in multitude of counsellors [there is] safety."  Proverbs 24:6

What we need to realize after meditating upon the verses above is that no matter how many counsellors we ask to advise us, if the counsellors reject the statutes and judgments and are not familiar with true wisdom as defined by Moses in Scripture then they are nothing more than a foolish bunch of counselors and their counsel should be avoided at all costs.

""I have more understanding than all my teachers: for Thy testimonies are my meditation. I understand more than the ancients, because I keep Thy precepts." Psalm 119:99, 100. Let all who accept human authority, the customs of the church, or the traditions of the fathers, take heed to the warning conveyed in the words of Christ, "In vain they do worship Me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men."" {DA 398.4}

"Satan is constantly endeavoring to attract attention to man in place of God.  He leads the people to look to bishops, to pastors, to professors of theology, as their guides, instead of searching the Scriptures to learn their duty for themselves.  Then, by controlling the minds of these leaders, he can influence the multitudes according to his will."  Great Controversy, p. 595.

Many Adventists Brace
Themselves Against the Light

When I consider the response that the feast day movement receives from the Seventh-day Adventist corporate leadership at large the following quote comes to mind.

"There is to be in the [Seventh-day Adventist] churches a wonderful manifestation of the power of God, but it will not move upon those who have not humbled themselves before the Lord, and opened the door of the heart by confession and repentance. In the manifestation of that power which lightens the earth with the glory of God, they will see only something which in their blindness they think dangerous, something which will arouse their fears, and they will brace themselves to resist it. Because the Lord does not work according to their ideas and expectations they will oppose the work. "Why," they say, "should we not know the Spirit of God, when we have been in the work so many years?"--RH Extra, Dec. 23, 1890. {LDE 209.3}
The third angel's message will not be comprehended, the light which will lighten the earth with its glory will be called a false light, by those who refuse to walk in its advancing glory.--RH May 27, 1890. {LDE 210.1}

The term "advancing glory" is what needs to be addressed. The corporate structure has dug in it's heels and has refused any advancing glory of the third angel's message. They are content with the same understanding that the pioneers had way back in the 1800's and are not eager to embrace a fuller understanding of what it means to come out of Babylonian religious practices.

"We ought to obey God rather than men." Acts 5:29

Gary made sure that I knew that he had attended the same elementary school as the current president of the general conference Ted Wilson and that Ted was just four years later in school as he.

All this was said in hopes that I would tremble at his threats but I have spent time in prayer and fasting and have trembled at the feet of ONE mightier than all the earth's popes, potentates, presidents, evangelists and clergymen combined.

"There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love." 1 John 4:18

"And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell." Matthew 10:28

"But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death." Revelation 21:8

We must follow in the footsteps of Yahushua even if the price we pay is poverty, imprisonment, torture, ostracism and or death. Companionship with our Maker, Savior, Redeemer and Friend is more important than companionship with any other person or organization!!

Plain and simple, Yahushua kept all the feast days including the weekly sabbath both before as well as after the cross and He never instituted and replaced His calendar with another.

As He said in Matthew 5:17-19

"Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach [them], the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven." Matthew 5:17-19

In distributing this flyer I'm simply following His command to let my light so shine before men that they may see my good works, and glorify my father which is in Heaven!!

IT DOES NOT NEED TO GET PERMISSION FROM CORRUPT, GREEDY AND POWER HUNGRY ORGANIZATIONS TO SPEAK IN THE PULPIT!!

So Gary's announcement was great free advertising. Security guards surrounded me shortly prior to this announcement with about 8 guys and the head security told me to stop distributing the flyer but the damage against Satan's kingdom had already been done as I had already distributed the flyer the night before to all the camper sites before they even knew what was happening.

The flyer is so official in appearance that they had no other choice but to notify the attendees that it was not an official document.

Gotta love it!! :o)

"So when they had dined, Yahushua saith to Simon Peter, Simon, [son] of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my lambs. He saith to him again the second time, Simon, [son] of Jonas, lovest thou me? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my sheep.  He saith unto him the third time, Simon, [son] of Jonas, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Yahushua saith unto him, Feed my sheep."   John 21:15 -17

Bottom line is that we are required to feed the sheep of Yahushua regardless of the corrupt and erroneous traditions and maxims of men that would attempt to keep heaven sent light away from the flock of Yahuwah.

Prophets That Challenge Moses Teach "Leprosy"

In closing I wanted to share a quote from Ellen G. White which was brought to my attention by my friend Tom Eisendrath.

"But "every plant, which My heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up." In place of the authority of the so-called fathers of the church, God bids us accept the word of the eternal Father, the Lord of heaven and earth. Here alone is truth unmixed with error. David said, "I have more understanding than all my teachers: for Thy testimonies are my meditation. I understand more than the ancients, because I keep Thy precepts." Psalm 119:99, 100. Let all who accept human authority, the customs of the church, or the traditions of the fathers, take heed to the warning conveyed in the words of Christ, "In vain they do worship Me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men." {DA 398.4}

We can see from this passage that the Scripture stands above every other source of authority and yes, that would include the writings of Sister Ellen G. White. She bows to the authority of Scripture and we are NEVER to forget this fact.

"How can the Lord bless those who manifest a spirit of "I don't care," a spirit which leads them to walk contrary to the light which the Lord has given them. But I do not ask you to take my words. Lay Sister White to one side. Do not quote my works again as long as you live until you can obey the Bible. When you make the Bible your food, your meat and your drink, when you make its principles the elements of your character, you will know better how to receive counsel from God. I exalt the precious word before you today. Do not repeat what I have said, saying, "Sister White said this," and, "Sister White said that." Find out what the Lord God of Israel says, and then do what He commands."--Ms 43, 1901, p. 10. (E. G. White talk in college library, April 1, 1901.) {5MR 141.1}

Distilling the two passages I would say that we are to study and obey the Torah and never attempt to use the writings of Sister White to abolish any part of the law of Moses. Moses' writings are still and always will be the highest level of literary authority known to man. His works and writings are of a higher degree of inspiration than any other in the history of literature.

I say this with authority and what I teach on this subject is easily provable by studying the following story. Miriam was a prophetess and yet when she had the audacity to challenge Moses she was smitten with leprosy which is symbolic of sin in the Bible. In other words when a person or even a prophet/prophetess decides to challenge the authority of Moses that person is teaching sin and should be avoided like a person with leprosy.

Please read the story.. from the book of Numbers.

12:1 And Miriam and Aaron spake against Moses because of the Ethiopian woman whom he had married: for he had married an Ethiopian woman.
12:2 And they said, Hath Yahuwah indeed spoken only by Moses? hath he not spoken also by us? And Yahuwah heard [it].
12:3 (Now the man Moses [was] very meek, above all the men which [were] upon the face of the earth.)
12:4 And Yahuwah spake suddenly unto Moses, and unto Aaron, and unto Miriam, Come out ye three unto the tabernacle of the congregation. And they three came out.
12:5 And Yahuwah came down in the pillar of the cloud, and stood [in] the door of the tabernacle, and called Aaron and Miriam: and they both came forth.
12:6 And he said, Hear now my words: If there be a prophet among you, [I] Yahuwah will make myself known unto him in a vision, [and] will speak unto him in a dream.
12:7 My servant Moses [is] not so, who [is] faithful in all mine house.
12:8 With him will I speak mouth to mouth, even apparently, and not in dark speeches; and the similitude of Yahuwah shall he behold: wherefore then were ye not afraid to speak against my servant Moses?
12:9 And the anger of Yahuwah was kindled against them; and he departed.
12:10 And the cloud departed from off the tabernacle; and, behold, Miriam [became] leprous, [white] as snow: and Aaron looked upon Miriam, and, behold, [she was] leprous.
12:11 And Aaron said unto Moses, Alas, my lord, I beseech thee, lay not the sin upon us, wherein we have done foolishly, and wherein we have sinned.
12:12 Let her not be as one dead, of whom the flesh is half consumed when he cometh out of his mother's womb.
12:13 And Moses cried unto Yahuwah, saying, Heal her now, O God, I beseech thee.
12:14 And Yahuwah said unto Moses, If her father had but spit in her face, should she not be ashamed seven days? let her be shut out from the camp seven days, and after that let her be received in [again].
12:15 And Miriam was shut out from the camp seven days: and the people journeyed not till Miriam was brought in [again].

So the morale of this well documented story is that even a true prophetess can be mistaken and sin and speak against Moses but when the prophetess/prophet repents and demonstrates wisdom again, it is possible that they can be restored to the congregation but only after a time of quarantine.

We must keep this story in mind when reading the writings of Ellen G. White and every other author for that matter and should never attempt to use any man's writings to make loopholes in and or abolish any part of the law of Moses, otherwise we will most assuredly be smitten with the leprosy of sin which is the transgression of the Torah. "Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the torah: for sin is the transgression of the torah." 1 John 3:4

Leadership Gone Astray

There are many, many pastors today that claim to have the utmost respect for the Bible and the writings of Ellen G. White and yet we know from history that the majority of leading men that claimed to have the utmost respect for the law of Moses in the time of Messiah, in reality, had not a clue and were actually fighting against Elohim. Could it be that the leading Brethren in the SDA corporation are repeating history when they champion the prophetess and yet actually fight against all that this prophetess would expect of them were she alive today?

I submit to the reader that indeed this is the case when so many pastors and leading brethren within and without structure Adventism today are found to be fighting against the "restitution of all things" as prophesied by Peter in the book of Acts chapter 3 verse 21.

May we all be found fighting for the truth and not against it is my sincere prayer for every reader of this mission report. May God help us all!
