Dear Friends,
I want to apologize for vacillating on calendar issues but calendar has been a challenging subject of study for me and I enjoy sharing as I learn. Please bear with me as we all seek the truth together.
As the timing of the feast tabernacles 2010 approaches I would like call your attention to some interesting harvest facts that cannot be denied as well as a couple quotes from Ellen White that seem to indicate that the seventh month is indeed one month later than what most present day bible students believe.
From the Book Patriarchs and Prophets By Ellen G White
"In the seventh month came the Feast of Tabernacles, or of ingathering. This feast acknowledged God's bounty in the products of the orchard, the olive grove, and the vineyard. It was the crowning festal gathering of the year. The land had yielded its increase, the harvests had been gathered into the granaries, the fruits, the oil, and the wine had been stored, the first fruits had been reserved, and now the people came with their tributes of thanksgiving to God, who had thus richly blessed them. {PP 540.2}
From the Book Prophets and Kings By Ellen G. White
"The time chosen for the dedication was a most favorable one--the seventh month, when the people from every part of the kingdom were accustomed to assemble at Jerusalem to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles. This feast was preeminently an occasion of rejoicing. The labors of the harvest being ended and the toils of the new year not yet begun, the people were free from care and could give themselves up to the sacred, joyous influences of the hour. {PK 37.3}
JERUSALEM, Oct. 19 (Xinhua) -- "The olive harvest season in the West Bank, which began about two weeks ago,"

Above web links are proof that the Olive harvest did not even begin until October 7th.
This would have been three weeks after the Jews celebrated the feast of Tabernacles according to the Rabbinical Jewish calendar.
We see from the links that the labors of harvest were long from "being ended" by September 23rd when most of the Jewish and Messianic Jewish believers celebrated the feast of Tabernacles.
If at all possible, it would be great to see you at the feast of Tabernacles 2010 in Terra Bella, Ca.
I plan to be there!!
